It’s hard to believe it’s almost showtime! After literally years of
planning everything is starting to fall into place. I have been on the
phone daily making arrangements. There will be a wonderful slate of
awards which will include:
14 colour classes
4 Championship awards
2 futurity class awards
A people’s choice award
Presentations to Judges
Tribute presentations
A special gift to each exhibitor
Needless to say when we add in hall rental and the cost of
bringing in a world class judge we are looking at expenses which will
likely exceed $5,000 for this Jacobin show. Entry fees, club member-
ship fees and futurity band sales alone will not cover these expens-
es. So we are setting up a sponsorship program to help offset some of
the show expenses. It will be as follows:
$50 = Bronze
$100 = Silver
$200 = Gold

Fred and Mary Theolke from Crystal ND. USA have donated
$100 usd
Dave Cavanaugh from Winnipeg is donating all the feed for the
show and has also offered to pick up anyone flying into Winnipeg for
the show and will shuttle them to and from the airport. This is huge
and we cannot thank Dave enough for this.
Clint Robertson is donating the cages and judging pens for
both the Jacobin and prairie invitational open show as well as $1000
towards show expenses for the Jacobin show.
Entry forms were emailed on or around December 1st with an
entry deadline of December 21st.
