I’m sure we were all surprised when we learned that we
wouldn’t be able to hold the 2023 National Pigeon Association
Grand National this coming January. What a disappointment!
I really enjoyed attending the previous two Amarillo Nationals
and was looking forward to yet another.
Rather than have an empty spot in our show calendar, the
Utah Pigeon Club leadership has arranged for a replacement
show on the same dates. However, this show will only be a two
day show instead of three days. Put these dates on your calen-
dar: January 20-21, 2023.
We have a growing number of specialty clubs who are
holding either their national meet or a regional meet at this
show. The name of the show? Rocky Mountain Fanciers Sum-
mit! Held in the Rocky Mountains, the site of the show will be
at the Golden Spike Event Center in Ogden, Utah, 1000 1200 W
Street Ogden, Utah 84404, building 3. I have been to this facil-
ity and it will be great for the show with plenty of room so you
can have a good judging area as well as room to put out some
chairs to relax and visit with friends. And we invite specialty
