Perhaps the most important and rewarding aspect of this display and work by the Los Angeles Pigeon Club was the positive reaction we got from the crowd. Not a negative word about the birds was heard rather more often than not we heard comments like, “I never knew there were so many beautiful kinds of pigeons”. Perhaps the LAPC members with their efforts did just enough to change many of the negative connotations about out birds.• The Los Angeles Pigeon Club’s Pageant of Pigeons All Breed/All Age show will be held Saturday, November 21 at the San Bernardino County Fairgrounds, 14800 7th St, Victorville, CA Many specialty meets, Junior Show and Best of Show competition are planned.
