Purebred Pigeon SepOct 2024
27 – Purebred PIGEON first moment, our interactions with the RBPC members have been of mutual respect and we have definitely fetched some friendships from there as well, we are extremely thankful for their time and support. One of the cornerstones for the MEPC is its solid sense of loyalty and comradery and it is a pleasure to admit that six years later all the founding members are still on the same boat. Building quality membership that both pledges to preserve the blood of these lineages and humbly offers guidance to newcomers is of uttermost importance. We want these charismatic animals to outlive us and we want the next generations to enjoy even better birds than we did. It is also crucial that members are interested in showing their birds, spreading awareness on the enormous diversity of Middle Eastern pigeons and the efforts being made for their protection. More importation events are occurring as we speak. Many of them at a much smaller scale, but this is evidence that members and non-members are feeling more encouraged to bring their own Middle Eastern flocks and this is certainly promising for ensuring a healthy genetic flow in the future. Hopefully one day these breeds will become so common, we will see most of them being flown rather than permanently confined. Our Facebook group “Middle Eastern Pigeon Club ®©” amasses over 1200 users and our club members are native to the United States, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Kosovo, Serbia, Kuwait, Macedonia, Egypt, etc., Some of the core members are featured on the following pages: MEPC Champion at the 2022 NPA Grand National - Blue Ice Booz bred by J.P. Isom Ash red ice Booz at the 2024 NPA Grand National Show - Best of Breed
