10 – Purebred PIGEON • In the Old Muff classes, Ahmed Alharthy won Champi- on with a beautiful Black. • Best Bar Adult Muff went to a Silver belonging to Mazen Almagdui, and the same breeder won best Young Bar Muff, this time with a Blue. • In the Marking section, Sultan won best Young Muff with a very nice Teager. • In the Other section, best Young Muff was won with a Qualmond belonging to Mazen Almagdui. Then it was the turn of the Clean Legs. Once again, some outstanding birds present. • Champion Young Clean Leg was won by Feras Almatu- ori with a lovely Black. • Champion Old Clean Leg with another Black was Bander Alghamdi. • Champion Young Bar Clean Leg was a Khaki owned by Feras Almatuori and • Champion Old Bar was a Grizzle, again belonging to Bander Alghamdi. • In the Marking section, there was only a young Teager owned by Sultan. • And in the Other section, Champion Young Clean Leg was an Opal owned by Feras Almaturi and • Champion Old Clean Leg was also an Opal owned by Ghazai Almtrfi. It was an absolute pleasure to judge such a fine bunch of Tumblers. I have never been to a show any- where where there were so many excellent birds and the condition of every bird was immaculate. What I admired was the fact that these guys are trying to breed shorter Tumblers as over the years a lot of birds are becoming long in the tail. There was not one bird out of the 214 that had even one feather lice on. And the feather quality of all the birds was amazing. I congratulate all exhibitors for showing their birds in such outstanding condition. The Tumbler club also has a Master Breeder pro- gramm running. Posted on a huge banner in the show hall was a picture of all the breeders who are starting to accumulate points to become a Master Breeder. Bander Alghamdi with his wins at this show, now has reached the required 1000 points. But he still has to wait for 2 years as they have a minimum time limit as well. Participants have to be a member of the club for at least 10 years and take part in judging at their club show on at least one or two occasions. A great programm which encourages everyone to participate at the highest level to obtain this prestigious award. It was very pleasing to see 23-year-old Nawaf Alhaidari on this poster as well. Nawaf worked tirelessly during the judging recording the results of the judging of each class. It is great to see a young man tak- ing part in the running of the club.
