46 – Purebred PIGEON Jamie Purpura It is with great sadness that I report the passing of Jamie Purpura. Jamie was a life- time member of the Eastern Fantail Club and an accomplished breeder of both Modenas and Fantails. I first met Jamie when I was 12 and he had me hand washing his whites Fantails in the bathroom sink at the hotel until midnight. He had a larger than life personality that will be missed. He last showed with us in the EFC two years ago and still had a nice family of bars. He had a silver hen that did very well for him including winning the EFC Annual Show about 15 years ago.
