35 – Purebred PIGEON from the tip of the beak to the distal end of the tail is 33 cm, and its wingspan between the tips of the extended wings is approximately 72 cm. Head: relatively narrow, with a slightly inclined forehead that connects through a gentle curve with the flat upper part. Beak: medium-sized, straight, and not very thick, with color- ation matching the plumage. Eyes: The eyes have a dark pearl-white color, very finely speckled with reddish tones. In white pigeons or those mostly white, the eye is black. Eye ring: thin and matches the plumage color. Nasal carun- cles: very fine, small, and smooth. Neck: relatively short, and the back is wide, while the chest is modest. Wings: long, and in a resting position, they usually rest on their wide tail, although they often hang down below the tail without touching the ground. Tail: the most attractive feature of this pigeon, with a long and broad formation, generally with 16–19 feathers that should be arranged as flat as possible. The presence of some forked feathers in the center of the tail is accepted. Legs: rather short, as are the toes. The color of the nails is the same as that of the beak. The basic colorations are ash, light and dark, “terrós,” white, red in uniform coloration (light and dark), and white and gray in all shades (all may have certain reddish rust-col- ored tones, “rovellat”), these colors also mix with white, which are called “Pintats” when the color dominates over the white, and “Clapats” when the white dominates over the color.• Ring: 7 mm.•
