4 – Purebred PIGEON Show time is approaching fast! Please send in your Fall and Winter Show information to staff@purebredpigeon.com . Also send it to the NPA at npashowcalendar@pigeonclubusa.com. And in an attempt to broaden our horizons, I recommend sending it to poultryshowcentral.com/Contact-Us.html – this is a fun poultry based website that also has a pigeon section. If posting this information gets even one more person to your show or a few more entries, I think it is well worth the ef- fort. Also, if your club has a Facebook page, put your show info on there in the posting area – and if you look just below your image at the top there is a tab for Events. Put your show info in there, too -- it makes it easy to find without having to scroll through lots of previous posts. All this is free publicity and might help a potential pigeon fancier find their way into the hobby! Next issue is Pouters/Croppers. Deadline is September 10 but I can extend it a bit if you need more time While we are sweltering in the summer heat, I thought it was a good time for Tom Mohahan’s article about his trip to the National last January at 8 degrees! Hope you enjoy the issue! From the Editor We need articles and advertisements to support our issues in 2026 & 2027 This is your invitation to participate! SEVERAL ISSUES ARE AVAILABLE for Features/Specials! If you are interested in having your bird on the cover, now is the time!
